Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy covers digitooltech.com and the automated replies on my Instagram account @its.michaelpham. I'm Michael Pham, and I run both. Questions go to michael@digitooltech.com.

Instagram comment replies

When you comment a keyword on one of my posts (for example "monday"), an automation I built sends you one direct message and replies to your comment. It uses Meta's official Instagram API and only sees comments on my own posts.

To do that it reads:

The only thing it stores is the comment ID, for up to 8 days, so it doesn't message you twice. It doesn't keep your username or comment text, and it doesn't build a contact list. Messages you send me afterwards stay in Instagram like any other DM.

This website

The site has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking cookies. Like any website host, Vercel processes your IP address and basic request data to serve the pages. The Thumbnail Preview tool runs entirely in your browser: your image and titles are saved only in your browser's local storage and are never uploaded. Its sample feed loads thumbnails from YouTube, so YouTube receives those image requests.

Links to other services (some are marked "Affiliate") take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Who processes data

I don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Data deletion

To have your data deleted, email michael@digitooltech.com with your Instagram username. I'll delete anything I hold about you within 30 days and confirm by email. Stored comment IDs also delete themselves after 8 days. You can delete your comment or our DM conversation in Instagram at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Email me and I'll handle it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
